GCS Outdoors started providing Landscaping service to our clients in 2011 when Fred & Frank Guimaraes decided to pursue their passion and hobby of landscape design. They understand the value of curb appeal and strive to ensure that your property is always looking its best. You will see Frank out doing estimates on designs while Fred is in quality control throughout the field. GCS Outdoors has earned its name thanks to these Brothers.
Frank is one of the owners at GCS. He handles all aspects of the company, from doing quotes to supervising the crew, Frank is always hands-on. His love for creating beautiful outdoor living spaces drew him to open up the construction department.
Fred is the other owner here at GCS. He handles quality control on all locations. Fred has an eye for perfection when it comes to making sure the maintenance is up to his standard. You will find Fred always on locations to ensure his maintenance guys are holding up his standard of edging, weeding, pruning, and mowing.
As Chief Financial Officer of GCS Outdoors, Kristen oversees the company’s financial operations, customer relations, and office administration. Since the company’s early years, she has played an integral role in helping build GCS Outdoors into the trusted property maintenance and landscaping company it is today.
Kristen is passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences and believes that strong communication, organization, and attention to detail are the foundation of lasting client relationships. Whether assisting customers, supporting the team, or managing day-to-day operations, she is committed to ensuring every client receives the highest level of service.
Outside of work, Kristen enjoys spending time with her three children, making memories with family and friends, and taking advantage of everything a New England summer has to offer. Her dedication to both her family and the business continues to be a driving force behind the growth and success of GCS Outdoors.

Adam is a Business Developer at GCS Outdoors, where he focuses on building strong client relationships and helping property owners find solutions that best fit their landscaping and property maintenance needs.
Born and raised in Newburyport, Adam developed a strong appreciation for teamwork, communication, and dedication through years of playing sports. Those values continue to shape his approach to both business and customer service. He enjoys connecting with clients, understanding their goals, and helping ensure their properties receive the highest level of care.
When he’s not working, Adam enjoys spending time on the water during the summer, cheering on the Boston Bruins, and making memories with his nieces and nephews.

Colby Cook joined GCS Outdoors in the Fall of 2025 and has since become a key part of the company’s software and office operations team. From organizing and processing data to managing social media content and coordinating daily operations, Colby’s drive for structure and eagerness to learn have allowed him to take on a wide variety of responsibilities across GCS. Whether working behind the scenes with crew leaders or assisting Kristen in welcoming new clients, he is dedicated to helping deliver the best possible landscaping experience for every customer.
Outside of work, Colby enjoys staying active at the gym and spending time outdoors with friends and family. When he isn’t up and moving, you can usually find him watching the next Boston sports game.
As Residential Account Manager and Office Administrator at GCS Outdoors, Andrea plays a key role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional service from start to finish. She works closely with homeowners, coordinating schedules, managing accounts, and supporting the daily operations of the office to help every project run smoothly.
Andrea is passionate about creating positive customer experiences and believes that communication, organization, and attention to detail are the foundation of strong client relationships. Whether she’s assisting customers, supporting the team, or keeping office operations on track, she is committed to delivering the highest level of service.
Outside of work, Andrea enjoys cooking, dancing, singing, and staying active at the gym. Her energetic personality, positive attitude, and dedication to helping others make her a valued member of the GCS Outdoors team.
